Fantail Entertainment was established in the fall of 2006 with the goal of developing and producing premium quality original programming for the television, web, mobile, and home video markets.

We create content that focuses on youth-oriented travel, lifestyle, and culture.  Our programming is targeted at male and female audiences between the ages of 15 to 30 from a diverse range of socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds.  Our shows speak to and reflect the reality of today's youth – a generation that is often difficult to define and understand.  We effectively connect with this market not only because they happen to be our peers, but because we are invested in creating programming that explores and examines the beliefs and values that drive them.

At Fantail Entertainment, we believe that emerging New Media technologies are rapidly changing the way video content is being delivered to and consumed by the public, especially today's youth market, and subsequently our content is designed to shift and adapt to new formats and distribution models.  We actively keep our fingers on the pulse of the constantly evolving trends and technologies that dictate not just what our audience  wants to see, but where and how they see it.

Fantail Entertainment is kicking off 2007 with the launch of two original alternative travel shows.  Abroad is a reality docudrama that vividly chronicles  the journeys of young Americans traveling abroad.  The Global Good (developed in partnership with Oso Media) introduces viewers to a wide variety of overseas volunteering opportunities through the eyes of real volunteers.  In the fall of 2006 pilot episodes for both Abroad and The Global Good were produced on location in France, Spain and Honduras by our in-house production team.  We are currently exploring various distribution and sponsorship opportunities for both of the shows.  Demo reels for both programs are available upon request.

To support our original travel programs, Fantail Entertainment has launched The Travel TV Lounge, a website that not only allows us to showcase original video content for Abroad and The Global Good, but also provides our audience with a way to connect with the producers of the shows and with each other.  In addition to video, the website will provide visitors with other forms of original content, including podcasts, feature articles, and alternative travel tools and resources.
